If I could go back and photograph a wedding again, it would be this one. Never have I had so much fun running around the Chicago Loop as I had with these two. After many years of dating, Shiying + Tianyu said they “just couldn’t wait any longer to get married”. With both of their families living in China, they decided to have a small intimate ceremony at the county clerk’s office here in Chicago.

Shiying skipped down the street and Tianyu trailed hand-in-hand. His lips smeared with his bride’s bright red lipstick. When I asked if they wanted to wipe it off, they both sort of giggled and said “No, it’s ok".
